The Nightingale Committee of the Pikes Peak Region encompasses those nurses eligible for the Colorado Nightingale award in the region (north to Castle Rock, west to include Woodland Park & Cripple Creek, and south to the Pueblo border).

To recognize nurses in the community who exemplify Excellence in Nursing with criteria described in depth here.
To raise funds to assist nursing students at both local schools of nursing to remain in school when an unexpected monetary crisis arises. Each year a portion of the funds raised through our Silent Auction and donations is given to the Emergency Fund at Bethel School of Nursing and Pikes Peak Community College Nursing Program. The funds are administered by the Deans of each nursing program.
